This is to officially inform you that the federal government of Nigeria
has
finalized with the central bank of Nigeria ( cbn ) to pay your overdue
fund
through (ATM) card. With this atm card you will use to withdraw your
money
in any atm machine in any part of the world, but the maximum is twenty
thousand dollars per day.
Base on this development you are urged by the authority of this office
to
reconfirm the following information to us.
1. your full name
2. your private phone number
3. contract amount and
4. contact address, with city, state and country.
Note that local banks over here are not allowed to transfer any money
above
one million dollars ($1,000.000.00) your money should be paid via
central
bank of Nigeria not from any other local bank.
The finance ministry together with the central bank of Nigeria has made
every necessary arrangement concerning this payment and payment advice
has
been sent to this office to discharge duties effectively.
Meanwhile, due to some series of complain we gathered from foreign
contractors all over the world regarding the foreign payment, many fake
government officers are impersonating the apex bank (cbn) officials by
using
such offices, like the office of the governor, office of the
presidency,
paymaster general of federation, senate committee, debt reconciliation
committee, international remittance dept, foreign operation dept etc,
creating avenue of payment by cash delivery through diplomatic means
which
is prohibited world wide by united nations as money laundry.
They even go to the extent of collecting all sort of charges from
foreign
contractors especially the desperate ones and thereby tarnishing the
image
of our country overseas. You are warned to stop any further
communication
with such persons for your own interest, if your are dealing with them.
Please note that only five million United States dollars
(us$5,000,000.00)
has been approved for your immediate payment through this means in this
first quarter of this year 2007. As soon as we hear from you, we will
give
you the modalities and conditions for receiving the atm card and
procedure
to operate the atm card.

In January, 2007, under a old email address, I received the same email. I never received anything from Dr. J.K. Williams. After sending US$150.00, I got an email from "Interpol British Section" that they "Stopped Payment on my ATM Card and wanted US$1785.00 for a "ANTI-TERRORIST CERTIFICATE". I stopped trying in March, 2007. THEN, in September, 2007, I got another email under my new address from Dr. J.K. Williams, this time requesting US$185.00. Ironically, he did not remembers anything about the previous email even after forwarding past communications from old email address. He insist that someone was using his name, even though his phone number was the same of BOTH occasions. Dr. Williams went as far as to say my card was sent FedEx and gave me the alleged Tracking Number with the PIN number for my Card. He is now saying he will send directly to my bank. I will not continue to deal with Dr. J.K. Williams. I never should have agreed to this in the first place. "ALL unrighteousness is a SIN"!
